New toy -- Bamboo Wacom tablet
While out and about with the husband on Sunday, we came across this slick looking Bamboo drawing tablet which was at a reasonable price, so we decided to get it for me to try it out.
I remember seeing an entry called Anime paperchild on 望み - What is that you desire?
And decided to try my hand at making one with my new "toy".
Here she is, having tea in her yukata on my tablet ^^ I was going to colour her, but thought to make a black and white version first ^^ I did a rough sketch in pencil and paper, then "inked" and shaded her in photoshop.
After that I printed her out on our inkjet printer and cut her out. Took a few shots, and decided this one looks the best of the lot.
Tried putting her on my laptop also ^^
Since she turned out rather cute, I hope to find time to colour her eventually, possibly after my deadline later this week ^O^; meanwhile, here's the version in grey :3

I've had a Bamboo (silver, small; $92 USD) on my Amazon wish list for months, but was finally thinking about ordering it *this* week! Hmmm, maybe this Friday (pay day), haha. ^_~

Hmm... so I guess bamboo is a Wacom product... I will go check out Wacom's site. Anyhow, I hope it will be a good tablet for you chun. I know I'm in need of a new one but will wait for now.
She looks so cute just the way she is now. Watercolors would look wonderful on her.

@puppy52doll, of course I do. The screen, keyboard, and even the tablet position is look absolutely like mine. ^^

Edward yes it's wacom ^^ it's pretty good so far, the driver was not very good on vista tho lol but with XP it works fine ^^

P.S. Awww, pretty damn cute, makes me wanna regain my *lost* pencilling abilities even more. ^.^
xJayx well the tablet's drivers conflicted with our hp scanner/printer drivers on vista O_o really weird =_= this image is semi traced mostly on the computer ^^; the pencil sketch is really rough lol
